At the outset, please accept my regards for writing and publishing such a beautiful post! Title itself says a lot; word “condescension” is used beautifully.
Dis post gave me lot of food 4 thought and conflicting views floated in my mind- as a person belonging to male species (as u women call it..!), as an independent thinker and frm d view point of women. Lemme try 2 mention it in d order they appear in d post:-
Point (as a male)
01. Country does produces good men. examples r plenty
02. A foreigner holding door open doesn’t make him superior n Indians inferior
03. Women demanding respect from men shd learn to respect men first
04. Infact women shd raise their standards
05. So many requirement frm men-to-be? Do women really deserve it?
Counter Point (women view point)
01. Men really never grow-up. My English professor said once “Husband is eldest kid in d house”
02. Women sometimes don’t get even d minimum respect they deserve
03. Men shd understand tht it will not take much efforts to change their attitude a bit 4 btr
As independent thinker
Both; Men n women r different (Remember? “Men r frm Mars, Women r frm Venus). Each shd accept as other is. If tried 2 change each other; the result will only be discontent and utter frustration.
